Samsung India Electronics recorded a 36% drop in net profit to ₹7,228 crore for FY26, down from ₹11,287.50 crore reported in FY25, according to financial data accessed via business intelligence platform Tofler. Despite the decline in profitability, the consumer electronics leader registered a marginal 1.2% growth in revenue from operations, reaching ₹1.12 trillion (₹1,12,000 crore) for the fiscal year, while its total consolidated income stood at ₹1.14 trillion. As the sole player in India’s appliance and consumer electronics sector with a turnover exceeding ₹1 trillion, Samsung continues to generate the major share of its topline from its mobile phone business alongside its offerings in tablets, televisions, home appliances, and computers. Meanwhile, its main South Korean competitor, LG Electronics, recorded a total income of ₹2,46,049.12 crore in FY26, reflecting a modest growth of nearly 1%.
