“Empowering Young Minds: Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Ignites Innovation in Tripura”

Samsung India has officially announced the expansion of its flagship CSR initiative, Solve for Tomorrow 2025, into Tripura as part of its nationwide outreach. With INR 1 crore in funding for the top four winning teams, the program also offers expert mentorship from Samsung leaders and IIT Delhi faculty to help incubate impactful, youth-led innovations.

Following its April 29 launch, the initiative conducted design thinking workshops and Open Houses in educational institutions across India, including Bir Bikram Memorial College and Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya in Agartala. Students proposed ideas ranging from smart drainage systems and wearable health monitors to digital mental health assistants in Kokborok and sustainable eco-tourism platforms, aiming to solve grassroots challenges.

a key trade center in North Tripura, the response has been particularly enthusiastic. Local market stakeholders foresee transformative business opportunities as youth-led innovations begin to align with traditional sectors such as agriculture, handicrafts, and eco-tourism. The initiative is expected to create pathways for technology-driven market expansion and regional entrepreneurship.
