The Arunachal Pradesh government has launched the fifth edition of the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Programme (APEDP 5.0), a flagship initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and startup growth across the state.The programme seeks to support aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, self-help groups and emerging startups by providing a combination of financial assistance and structured incubation support. Officials said the initiative is designed to help transform innovative ideas into sustainable and scalable business ventures while strengthening the state’s startup ecosystem.Under APEDP 5.0, a total of 100 promising ventures will be selected for seed funding and incubation. The top 20 applicants will receive seed funding of Rs 10 lakh each, while the remaining 80 selected startups will be provided Rs 8 lakh each to support the development and expansion of their businesses.
In addition to financial support, all selected participants will undergo a nine-month incubation programme at the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP). The incubation process will include mentorship, skill development, business guidance, networking opportunities, market linkage support and access to co-working facilities. The state government believes the initiative will encourage young entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions, generate employment opportunities and contribute to the economic growth of Arunachal Pradesh. Officials said the programme reflects the government’s commitment to creating a vibrant entrepreneurial environment and nurturing local talent.
Applications for APEDP 5.0 are being accepted through the state’s startup portal. Interested entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators and self-help groups can apply online. The last date for submission of applications is July 20, 2026.
