Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium two-wheeler portfolio by unveiling the all-new CB500 roadster alongside a refreshed CB350 lineup. The flagship CB500 introduces an all-new platform built around a 501cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that generates 28 bhp and 43.3 Nm of peak torque, making it Honda’s largest air/oil-cooled single-cylinder motorcycle designated for domestic manufacturing in India. Taking design cues from its smaller sibling, the CB500 features a larger fuel tank, ribbed seating, chunkier exhaust styling, and modern electronics including an assist and slipper clutch, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and RoadSync smartphone connectivity. It will be offered in three distinct variants—ranging from alloy wheels to spoke-tubeless configurations—and aims to challenge competitors like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 when local sales commence. Concurrently, HMSI updated its existing 350cc portfolio—comprising the CB350, CB350RS, and CB350C—with fresh colorways and graphic updates to give the classic roadster family a darker, more contemporary aesthetic while keeping the core mechanical package unchanged.
