The District Task Force for Immunisation (DTFI) meeting was chaired by Tawang Deputy Commissioner, Namgyal Angmo in Tawang on Thursday.
During the meeting, the deputy commissioner directed officials to assess gaps in human resource requirements and reviewed infrastructural gaps within the health department across Tawang.
The meeting was attended by DMO Dr. TD Namsa, DRCHO Dr. Rinchin Neema, Executive Engineer, DUDA, Phurpa Lamu, DPC ISSE, Dhondup, along with representatives from other line departments, Medical Officers and Health and Wellness Officers from across the district.
The DRCHO presented the current status of immunisation coverage in the district.
The DMO called for collective efforts to make Tawang the best-performing district in the state, directing all medical officers to present centre-wise status reports and take ownership from the next DTFI meeting onwards.
