Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025 Draws 35,000 Attendees on Opening Day in Dimapur

The three-day Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025 commenced with extraordinary attendance on Tuesday, drawing more than 35,000 participants, primarily youth, to the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex (MDSC) near DC Court Junction in Dimapur. The festival’s inaugural evening featured a dynamic praise fiesta from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing musical performances by groups such as New Life Music Nagaland, Dimapur Christian Fellowship, Limitless Generation, and Harp Generation.

The main sermon was delivered by Apostle Ankit Sajwan of the Family of Lord Jesus Church from New Delhi, who encouraged attendees to embrace healing, unity, and an invigorated identity in Christ. He emphasized the significance of accepting healing as a testament to faith and belonging to God, proclaiming the presence of divine transformation during the event. Sajwan expressed gratitude to the Heavenly Father, the Word, the Holy Spirit, and the congregation of pastors and churches for their unity. He articulated a vision of revival in Nagaland, urging participants to reassess their understanding of Christianity beyond mere religion and to embody Christ’s teachings, hoping to revive the slogan “Nagaland for Christ.”

Sajwan warned against a superficial faith characterized by “dead religious Christianity” lacking divine influence, asserting that God’s kingdom is manifested through transformative actions rather than mere words. Returning to scriptural foundations, he cited John 1:1, emphasizing that genuine worship must be anchored in the Word of God. He posited that true revival should not be measured solely by miracles, but by love, unity, and oneness among believers. The evening included a healing service where numerous attendees shared testimonies affirming recovery through their faith.

Rev. Moses Murry, General Superintendent of the Assembly of God , praised the festival’s significance for Dimapur and Nagaland, highlighting the remarkable turnout and expressing hopes for its blessings. He cited 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Acts 10:31, urging believers to practice humility, forsake sin, and surrender to Jesus, promising miraculous outcomes for those who walk faithfully.

Organized by The Gatekeepers, a group dedicated to reviving Nagaland’s Christian spiritual identity, the festival sought to remind participants of their identity in Christ and ignite a generational revival. The main service commenced at 5 p.m. and persisted into the evening. For attendees’ convenience, food stalls were available at reasonable prices, and special accommodations were made for persons with disabilities, the elderly, and the sick. Additionally, a “May I Help You” desk and a lost-and-found service were established, while books authored by Apostle Sajwan were offered for sale at ₹300. Crowd management was facilitated by a singular entry and exit point.
