The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) conducted high-level discussions with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) from December 18 to 21, focusing on the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT). The series began with a bilateral meeting on December 18, featuring an MHA delegation led by Advisor A.K. Mishra. Subsequently, a tripartite High-Level Committee meeting took place on December 19 at Kartavya Bhavan-3, involving the Government of India, the Government of Nagaland, and ENPO, chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, with the Nagaland delegation led by Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen. On December 21, the ENPO, along with Rajya Sabha MP S. Phangnon Konyak, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence to express Christmas greetings and appreciation for his commitment to the FNT issue. ENPO characterized these engagements as a reflection of ongoing dialogue with the Centre regarding Eastern Nagaland and its territorial matters.
