Joint Training Of Army, ITBP Conducted To Enhance Operational Coordination In Arunachal

The Spearhead Division under the Spear Corps of Indian Army, in conjunction with troops of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), conducted a joint training programme in the challenging terrain of Arunachal Pradesh, reaffirming the spirit of jointness and strengthening synergy at the tactical level.

Designed to enhance interoperability, operational coordination and combat preparedness, the training focused on mission-specific tactical drills, mountain warfare, route familiarisation, communication procedures, casualty evacuation and joint response mechanisms.

Operating in harsh terrain, personnel of both forces rehearsed operational contingencies and refined coordinated response capabilities essential for effective border management and frontier security.

The exercise underscored the seamless integration between the Indian Army and ITBP, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening their ability to operate together in demanding operational environments.
