HYBE India is expanding its nationwide talent search to Kohima, with an on-ground audition scheduled for September 22 as part of its HYBE India Audition: Final Call initiative. The Kohima event is among eight additional city auditions being added following an overwhelming response to the initial round, extending the company’s search for emerging Indian talent across diverse regions and backgrounds.
Pre-registration for the Kohima audition will be open from September 8 to 11 through HYBE India’s official audition website. Applicants are required to select Dimapur as their relevant city while submitting applications. Shortlisted candidates will be notified individually on September 15 with their specific time slots and venue details, while only invited candidates can attend the physical audition.
The audition is open to female participants born between 2005 and 2011, with categories including vocals, rap, dance, acting and modelling. Online applications for the Final Call remain open until October 31.
In Kohima, the initiative could strengthen the city’s position as a growing platform for young creative talent, bringing national-level industry attention to performers from Nagaland and the wider Northeast. The expanded search also creates potential opportunities for local artists to access wider entertainment networks.
Besides Kohima, HYBE India has added Lucknow, Dimapur, Shillong, Jaipur, Indore, Goa and Kochi. Applicants can also participate through online submissions, academies and institutes, WhatsApp and casting partners. Tess Joseph Casting is leading the on-ground campaign, while Panchami Ghavri Casting is handling online casting in India and globally. The initiative is supported by KIA, Nongshim and Project B.
