Nagaland is set to launch a pink two-wheeler taxi service run exclusively by women in Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts. The Regional Transport Authority has called for applications from eligible women for 15 permits each in both districts to encourage women empowerment and self-employment. Female riders who are indigenous to Nagaland, aged 20 to 40, can apply, provided they have the necessary documents. Application forms are available from February 9 for Rs 100, with the submission deadline on February 20. Shortlisted candidates will be announced on February 23 for a riding and driving test.
