International Women’s Day 2026 was observed through a Flower Show competition at Dzulhami village, Phek district, Nagaland. The event’s theme was “Give to Gain,” organized by the District Administration in partnership with SANKALP- District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Phek. Various departments like Sakhi-OSC, Shakti Sadan, and Child Helpline 1098 participated to raise awareness about the day’s significance. International Women’s Day (IWD) aims to honor women’s struggle for equality and liberation, highlighting critical issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and the prevention of violence and abuse against women.
